Playing in the UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand?

Keep it kind. None of these squares points at one person, and that's deliberate. If you write your own, leave out money, weight, health and old family arguments. The best squares are the ones the whole room is in on.

List 4: Holiday Movie Bingo

Made-for-TV holiday romances run on the same handful of ingredients: a big-city career, a small-town bakery, snow that arrives exactly on cue. Mark them as they turn up. Almost any of these movies will fill a card, and the game turns a movie marathon into something the whole couch plays.

Movie night rule: pause for a bingo check whenever someone calls it, and new squares only count once you press play again. It keeps the game honest and the snacks moving.

How to Run It

Calling the Classic and Little Elves lists

Paste the list into a document, print it, and cut the words apart. Put the slips in a stocking or a hat. Draw one at a time, read it out, and set it aside. When someone calls bingo, check their marked squares against the drawn pile.

Patterns for a longer game

Small prizes

A candy cane, first pick from the cookie tin, an extra marshmallow in the cocoa, or the right to choose tonight's movie.

Printing and Phones

Choose portrait for one big card per page, which is easier for small hands, or landscape for two cards per page with a cut line. If a few relatives are joining by video, use Share Online and send each of them a link to their own card, which opens on a phone or tablet.

The generator is free to use. Downloads on the free plan carry a small demo watermark; any pass takes it off.

Want your family's names, pets or traditions on the card? Add them to any list before you make the cards.
